*creeps in quietly*
Ahem,
*gun shots*
At any rate, I'm really sorry I haven't updated lately and I realize that quite possibly some people feel like this right now:
But...I think I did something to help make up for it.
No! No suspicious Steve! Really, I did! I wrote the first chapter of My Big Fat GerBelian Wedding! I even have a teaser to prove it.
Ta-Da! So, without further ado, here it is! The beginning of chapter one! Enjoy!

He lit another cigarette, hands shaking worse than he knew they knew how to. His shoulders were so tightly clenched he'd surely have a cramp soon. Erratically, he ran a hand through once tightly-gelled blonde hair and blew out the smoke into rings he'd perfected some time in between World Wars when he was particularly vexed. A frown settled itself into the man's face. Darn it, he promised her he'd quit. Although, he mused, cancer wasn't really a worry for his kind. If anything, the aforementioned woman would be the death of him first. Mein Gott. What was wrong with him? It hadn't been this bad when he was in wars for goodness sake. He had been a sniper in the past! How is it that one woman could turn this cold, calculating hunk of German engineered steel into a blubbering, bumbling mess?Love, that's how.
And a scary older brother.
A very scary, very territorial older brother.
Dang it.

So, it's not much, I know. But...do you like it?
Well, at any rate, there will be more soon. I promise. The rest of chapter one should be out within the next couple of days.
...Still suspicious I see. Well, I suppose I deserve that. I did sorta leave you hanging for a long time and I technically am doing it again, but I will be updating more once school's out. At any rate, (though I know you don't believe me) I'll see you guys soon! I'll probably post some other stuff before I post the chapter, so if you don't see it right away, that's why. I hope to have a teaser for Step It Out, Mary and The Continuing Adventures of Captain Molly S. Pickford soon, so stay tuned for that.
In the end, even though I made you mad...you guys missed me, didn't you?
Aww! You did miss me! Well, I missed you, too. Ciao lovelies! I missed you.
-Pickford
